Guidelines and Frequently Asked Questions
Clarion Service is the national repair centre and as such 99.9% of all units come in via postal services. Here are some guidelines for sending your unit in:
We would always recommend a phone call first in order to gain an idea of costs and timing involved in the repair of your Clarion audio equipment.
Pack your unit carefully using a sturdy box and packing material (double boxing recommended). Please have at least 10cm of packing around the unit.
When using our UPS collection service the above is a mandatory requirement! Please always check the individual requirements of the courier company used. As an alternative we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery. Print out our shipping form and include in the packaging.
Please send the packaged unit to (this will be printed on our UPS label for you):
Clarion Service UK
Pennyfields
Malmesbury Rd
Leigh, Nr. Cricklade
SN6 6RA
Upon receiving your unit we would contact you with the estimate of the repair or you could pre approve the repair if you already know the average repair cost. If you decline the estimate, you would be charged for return shipping and handling cost only.
We aim to repair units within a 2 to 3 day period.
Payment: We accept Visa, MasterCard and Maestro, as well as personal or Company Checks. All Prices are at 15% VAT
Warranty: All standard repairs are warranted for 6 months parts & labour on serviced performed only (not on entire unit). This warranty does not cover any abuse, liquid or owner abuse damage.
Exchange units come with longer warranties; again this will be confirmed with a phone call to 01285 861861. |
